Apache Cliffs
Historic look-out of the Chiricahua Apaches, where they kept watch across the valley for soldiers deploying from Fort Bowie. Some riding experience advisable. About six and a half hours saddle time.

Chiricahua National Monument
Spectacular rock formations along a challenging trail climbing to 7,000 ft - with indescribable views. Approximately four hours saddle time. Please note 110 mile round trip trailering fee of $60 per horse. Eight riders maximum, two minimum. This ride may not be possible in winter.

Scenic ride through Stronghold Canyon, hideout of Cochise and his Apache braves. About six and a half hours saddle time.

Ruins of the fort and the old Butterfield Trail offer a fascinating glimpse of the past. Please note 110 mile round trip trailering fee of $60 per horse. Eight riders maximum, two minimum. This ride may not be possible in winter. Be sure to take money for their gift shop!

Ride across the open country of the ranch to the southern boundary.
Panoramic views of the valley and the Chiricahua Mountains beyond
We stop at Bones Tank (pond) for lunch and to check the cattle.
