Every winter, the Willcox Playa which is a hop, skip and a jump away from Grapevine is home to the Sandhill Crane. This spectacle is a "must see" for birders. Book now!

When visiting Grapevine Canyon Ranch, you are within short driving distance to Chiricahua National Monument. If you take the loop trail, you will eventually come to a patch of forest. This is about half way on the full loop trail and it is a very welcome break. If you go on this hike in the summer you will undoubtedly see hundreds of butterflies congregating on the oaks.
